With a demonstrated ability to perform in all facets of the project life cycle from pre-contracts to project close-out, and more recently my success in the growth and profitability of both Tier 1 and Tier 2 businesses and the strong development of the people in the team showcases the strategic success I can bring to bear in a business context.I am a civil engineer with over 26 years’ professional experience that includes working for Tier 1 and Tier 2 construction organisations in Australia such as SUEZ Water, Lend Lease (Abigroup), John Holland and Comdain Infrastructure and The Reed Group, and in UK for Edmund Nuttall, Associated Solutions and EW Beard.My success has been underpinned by the profitable delivery of complex engineering and building projects, and subsequent construction and operations management experience.I have worked on a broad range of projects that include road, bridge, building, civil infrastructure, marine and rail and have more recently focused on water infrastructure that includes treatment plants (Beenyup AWRP, Bootawa WTP) pipelines (including the North West Growth Centre - $75m with 18% return) and potable storage solutions with associated valving and infrastructure (Rouse Hill Stage 3).I have undertaken senior governance roles on major projects focusing on high level risk and compliance management to improve financial outcomes, and have been heavily involved in pre-contracts activities including EOI and tender management for complex and multi-disciplinary projects.I am dedicated to a safe working environment, the development and implementation of a positive culture that ensures a ‘Zero Harm’ approach in all aspects of business delivery.
