• Designed and implemented Mass Cytometry experiments to confirm vaccine uptake and peptide expression in dendritic cells. Used the Maxpar MDIPA to determine GNP uptake in leukocyte populations. • Tested the Proteomic Stabilizer, a novel formaldehyde based preservative for the rapid freezing of whole blood. • MTT assay to assess GNP toxicity in dendritic cells. • Multicolour flow cytometry for HLA serotyping of thawed PBMCs, quantification of monocytes, and to assess the effect of incubation temperature on SIINFEKL peptide expression in DC 2.4 cells. • Purified PBMCs using density gradient centrifugation from donated blood. • Cultured and banked Hep G2 and DC 2.4 cells for the Research and Development team.• ELISPOT to confirm IFNy release from T-cells following PBMC treatment with GNP vaccines.

• Collaborated with scientists in the Bloomington and Madison sites (USA) to set up the process development laboratories in Harwell. Equipment included freezers, scales, pH meters, printers and autoclaves. • Drafted risk assessments for various scientific equipment such as the AMBR®250 24 channel bioreactor, Vi-cell cell viability counter, Cedex Bio HT Analyzer, centrifuges, freezers and cell culture incubators. • Organized waste stream disposal in the laboratories, detailing types of waste to be produced, appropriate containers and transport of waste outside the company site. • Produced equipment record forms detailing cost, serial number, maintenance, calibration and output parameters for various scientific equipment.

• Market research looking at diagnostic devices for urinary tract infection, comparing cost and accuracy • Continued collaborating with Oxford MEStar between 2017-2019 during my PhD, where I tested the effect of bioreactor culture on cell yield, proliferation, metabolism and morphology and on a 3D cancer model. • Performed leak testing, sterility testing and flow rate testing on the bioreactor.
