• Leads social (and environmental) risk screening and provides social inputs for project documents including Project Concept Notes, Integrated Data Sheets, Project Appraisal Documents and Decision/Negotiation Packages, in accordance with Bank operational policies;• Initiates and supports client-led social safeguard procurement/capacity building for the preparation/implementation of project safeguard instruments;• Provides expert advice and supervision/review during preparation of safeguards instruments including environmental and social management frameworks and plans in the areas of social assessment, involuntary resettlement, and indigenous peoples;• Monitors and supervises social (and environmental) risk and performance during project implementation including land acquisition and involuntary resettlement activities, free, prior and informed consultation, stakeholder engagement, and grievance management; and• Supports social (and environmental) policy dialogue with government, development partners and other stakeholders on social (and environmental) aspects relevant to the Pacific.

• Managed multi-disciplinary teams and led technical inputs in the delivery of environmental and social assessment, management and advisory services including strategic environmental and social assessment (SESA), environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA), environmental and social management and monitoring planning (ESMMP), resettlement action planning (RAP), integrated natural resource management planning (INRM) and livelihood restoration planning (LRP).• Supported strategic planning for the Group Environmental Assessment and Management Unit and Group Marketing Team;• Led business development and client liaison across Asia (and globally); • Led engagement with Aid & Development Sector; and• Provided technical support and quality assurance for all Environmental and Social Assessment and Management Unit activities.

• Managed multi-disciplinary teams and provided specialist inputs for the delivery of environmental and social consulting services.• Supported the management of the company including human resources, finance / accounting, marketing and strategic planning;• Managed 15 full time staff and numerous associate consultants; and• Led business development and client liaison activities in Lao PDR.

• Led Business and Biodiversity Program (BBP) initiatives in collaboration with government, civil society and the private sector across the Mekong region;• Led Country Program design and development including strategic planning; stakeholder engagement; research and proposal preparation; • Coordinated private sector engagements / projects including impact assessment and policy orientated research assignments; and• Represented IUCN Lao at high level government, donor and internal IUCN meetings in Lao PDR and regionally.

• Provided policy and administrative support to the Executive Officer, Council Chair and to Council members;• Conducted research and preparation of position papers and reports on key catchment management issues; • Project managed design phase for the Catchment Condition Report 2007 project; and • Provided client services to internal and external stakeholders involved in catchment management (i.e. State Government, catchment management authorities and the community).

• Assisted in the development of a State-wide Integrated Natural Resource Management (INRM) Policy;• Led research and development of an INRM Investment Framework including horizontal and vertical investment strategies for government agencies and institutions tasked with natural resource management;• Assisted with the planning and facilitation of inter-departmental consultation work-shops on the INRM Policy and Investment Framework.

• SRI analysis of ASX 100 listed companies utilising positive, negative and 'prominent issues' screening research techniques; • Assisted in the development of SRI methodology and analysis techniques; and• Co-authored a publication titled "Corporate ethics and social responsibility for today's corporations" which examined the status of CSR in the energy and resources sector.
