Driving the delivery of flagship projects (c.£300m) and Mayoral priorities through a complex political environment and to challenging deadlines.- Building, developing and managing a high performing multi-disciplinary matrix team, including external consultants, to shorten delivery timescales and reduce project costs- Managing a number of high-profile internal and external stakeholders, such as the London Boroughs, the Port of London Authority, local businesses, as well as TfL directors to ensure alignment on project strategy and proactively resolve conflicts- Leading development of processes for managing of design, construction, operation, commercial and project controls to meet Transport and Works Act order requirements- Leading options assessments, including utilising subject matter experts and external consultants to propose fully justified recommendations to senior management, ensuring buy-in and endorsement of schemes- Reviewing TfL ways of working, analysing existing issues and inefficiencies within the company and recommending solutions to drive continuous improvement

Key achievements include:- Owning the project management, environmental and quality documentation for a Development Consent Order (DCO) application- Personally recognised for achieving a saving of £200,000 through innovative and efficient design and project management- Effectively and efficiently prioritising a number of transport innovation initiatives to drive TfL’s current and future strategy

The international tunnels award-nominated station redevelopment. I worked as a tunnel shift engineer while also designing method statements, activity plans and risk assessments in preparation for the secondary lining works. Achievements included:- Working as the Assistant Materials Engineer, organising procurement, delivery and storage of materials and balancing project requirements with cost and logistical constraints- Acting as the cover Shift Manager, regularly the most senior member of tunnels staff on site, solving on-site issues, prioritising work and managing site logistics in order to prevent delay- Leading a team of operatives and developing engineers, training them in on-site and management roles, setting tasks and learning objectives
