Responsible for the development of assays targeting infectious diseases while advancing proprietary nucleic acid amplification biochemistry for integration into the Veros point-of-care platform. Project planning, a proactive mindset and efficient mobilisation of a team of scientists are skills used to achieve our project milestones.

Research placement under Prof Melinda Fitzgerald which involved working on numerous projects investigating the underlying pathophysiology of neurotrauma and potential of novel therapeutics.Practical laboratory experience was gained in immunohistochemistry, fluorescent microscopy, cell culture and in vivo rodent experiments. Accomplishments include contributing to and earning co-authorship on a recent publication in the Journal of Neuroinflammation and conducting an oral presentation at the Australian Society for Medical Research (ASMR) conference.
