I am Head of Player Development 13-16 at Manchester United I was National Head Coach and YDP Phase lead. i designed and delivered a bespoke curriculum for young England players, and managed games programmes and participation in international tournaments to provide outstanding development experiences for the best talent in the country.I have been a National Head coach at U15, U16, U17 and now U18 level.I am a forward thinking and successful Manager, Coach and Coach developer with extensive experience coaching National Senior and National Youth players at home and abroad as well as working with professional coaches in elite environments. I have worked in Academy and Senior pro football for 28 years.I am a Pro License Coach, I am an A License and Advanced Youth Award FA Tutor, hold a MSc in Sports Coaching a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science, the FA Fitness Trainers Award, the Academy Managers License and the PCA. I was a Senior FA Youth Coach Developer where I worked as part of the Professional Game Team, supporting coaches working in the Professional football. My successes include helping to shape and develop the AYA and A License. I managed the FAYCD resource in the Midlands and line managed a team of level 4 and 5 tutors.Previously as Academy Manager at Bristol Rovers, I was responsible for leading a large team of staff, 8 full time and 35-part time as well as 130 Academy players. I led a high-performance programme to fall in line with EPPP guidelines to produce first team players and saleable assets. The Academy was granted Category 3 status and received excellent feedback from the ISO. The feedback celebrated the level of preparation and organisation that I had implemented.As Technical Director of the Antigua and Barbuda FA and Head Coach of the Antigua Barracudas, I led National, Senior, U23 Olympic, and all age group teams, and was responsible for all football development on the island. One of my achievements was moving from 140 to 83 in the FIFA rankings and reaching the semi-final stage of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying for the first time in the country’s history.At the end of my playing career, I was Head Football Coach at Loughborough University. My successes include winning the British Universities championships on 2 occasions. I also coached and managed the English university team and worked as a part time Academy Coach at Nottingham Forest and Derby County.I am a former full time professional footballer with over 500 league appearances during 14 years playing, and have had captaincy and coaching experience in the football league.
