 Head of Transformation – Global Business Services (GBS); Tom’s current role is the lead of a major business Transformation Programme, starting from the initiation of the strategy, Blueprint designs, development of business case and full implementation / execution. The programme is for a new Shared Services operation for Worley (~1500 FTEs), across 6 x business functions, inc. Finance, IT, HR, Assurance, Inside Sale & Legal. Tom was fully accountable for the entire programme budget of ~ $100m, with the project team peaking at over ~200 FTEs. Tom leads this programme, reporting to the CFO & Group Executive council.  Sourcing phase & design; this programme involved Outsourcing and Transitions to Service Providers, such as: TCS, Capgemini, NTT, etc. Tom led this from the concept inception to handover.  Business Improvement Programme: in leading the programme and reporting to the Executive Steering Committee, Tom was responsible for Worley’s delivery of Cost Optimizations targeting over $85m of savings. Tom was also responsible for the benefit realization and reporting to the board. Digital System Integrations & ERP enhancement Projects; as part of the GBS Transformation Programme, Tom also led a team working on new system platform builds (such as ServiceNow, RPAs, Oracle modifications, etc). The System Integration team reported to Tom, and the delivery, costs and schedules were as part of Tom’s accountability.  Shared Service Operations lead: whilst leading the new GBS Transformation, Tom was also the leader for the exiting Worley Shared Services operations in KL, Malaysia. A Worley captive facility of approx. 300 FTEs, focusing primarily in Finance & HR Services. Programme Director – Global Process Framework; Tom has led a design and build implementation, for a new operating model for Worley’s Business Functions, to incorporate a new End-2-End process framework for Worley, including Global Processes Ownership model/roles, such as; P2P, R2R, H2R, etc.

Responsible for business performance and governance, leadership for ~ 550 personnel, with P&L accountability, safety leadership and delivery of business strategy plan. The business is delivering projects from Concept, FEED, Detailed Design, EPC partnering and PMC (site) work, across different sectors from Upstream to Downstream, including supporting renewable and infrastructure projects. Main bases in three office locations of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Egypt. Reporting to Regional MD / President.

Director of Global Service Line (consulting team) Global Director; global Services Line (SL) Director, for WorleyParsons Consulting division (Advisian), full P&L responsibility of $100m, responsible for the SL of Front-End Consulting for Hydrocarbons Upstream, Midstream and LNG. Running 10 x global teams, in hub locations such as; London, Singapore, Houston, Melbourne, Abu Dhabi, etc, with of ~200 personnel total, with leadership and P&L accountability. Including client facing and account management, for key accounts. Reporting to Global President.

Regional Director of Consulting service line: Tom was the business line director, managing P&L and leading a front-end consulting team across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), for Hydrocarbons and Chemicals, Concept and Feasibility. Tom was client facing, seller-doer background, and leads a specialist team of consultants in UK, Madrid and UAE. Also experience in downstream, Business Due Diligence and strategy consulting studies.

 Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Petroleum Operations (ADCO), Mender Development Project – Phase 1, EPC Project, Detailed Design and Consultant on behalf of the EPC Contractor; China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation (CPECC). Project Director, leading the Engineering and Design Team to deliver the full Detailed Design, whilst also utilizing a delivery center in Mumbai, India. Scope includes; Oil field development, Wells, water injection, Gathering Stations, Utilities, Export Pipelines, 33kV OHL, buildings, tie-ins to brownfield Central Degassing Station. Lukoil, Yamama, West Qurna-2 Projects, Yamama Full Field Development FEED Project: Tom was the Project Director, as requested by the customer, for this mega FEED Project of a full Oil Field Development, which peaked at over 350 x people on the project. Scope including; Processing Facilities, Oil Trains, Gas Plant, Power Plant, Well Pads, Pipelines, Water Injection Stations, Sulphur Recovery Units, Tank Farm, etc. Located in Iraq. FEED executed from Abu Dhabi, UAE. Workshare with 4 x other WorleyParsons office, including Global Delivery Centre (GDC) in Mumbai, India. Lukoil, Yamama, West Qurna-2 Projects, Third River Water Intake FEED Project: Tom was the Project Director, for this FEED Project of a large water intake facility, including a water treatment plant, storage, pumping, and a 65 km export pipeline, located in Iraq.  Lukoil, Nassiriya, Grass roots Refinery Project. 300 kbpd Nassiriya Refinery, Strategy Project to review the FEED Package and assess the business case on behalf of the client. Including; CAPEX/OPEX, NPV and IRR, with a view to optimize / minimize the initial CAPEX via phasing and constructability. Worked with refinery technical specialist and Master Planning. Also included a Concept design of the all the required upstream facilities to feed the refinery, utilities and export. Provided full project economics.

 Lukoil, Yamama, Asses / SELECT Project: Tom was the Project Manager for the Concept & Strategy phase (Pre-FEED) of a large onshore, oil field development project. He led the engineering team in utilizing WorleyParsons proprietary SELECT tools and framework in order to complete this Concept Project. Responsible for a team of up to 45 x Consultants and engineers.

 BP, Rumaila FEED Project: Tom was the Project Lead / Manager for the FEED of an asset package ‘Integrated Processing Complex’ (IPC), which was an onshore, oilfield processing facility in the Middle East. The FEED Design was for a 450 kbpd complex that includes three phase separation, gas compression, produced water treatment and associated utilities. Tom was responsible for delivery of the FEED Package for the IPC, which was approx. 100,000 man-hours. BP Rumaila SELECT Concept Project: For this large scale, on-shore, Concept / Strategy Project, Tom was in a leading customer-facing role and played a key part in the delivery of the Concept Cost Estimate Package and the structure of the final Decision Support Package (DSP). He chaired and led many framing and key decision meetings with the customer. Tom was a key part of the Project Management Team for this project, and was requested by the customer to support them in presenting the DSP to their partners following the project delivery.
