He is highly qualified with 19 years’ experience in major program & project delivery, consultancy and running performance units in the Energy sector. Tom is currently the Transformation Director for a large Shared Services (GBS) global implementation, having led the program since inception of the Strategy and Blueprints phase. Tom’s previous roles in Worley include Location Director for UAE, Iraq & North Africa (over 550 headcount), Global Director of a Consulting Business Line, and Project Director on numerous Energy sector projects. Client experiencesTom has worked on both customer and consultant / contractor sides, at a senior levels, in client facing projects, all resulting in tangible business outcomes. He has developed the strategy phase, set up and delivered large scale programmes as well reporting to Group Exec / C-suite level. Such as:- Project Executive: ADNOC, Gas & Energy Strategy and Business Plan. Tom led a highly qualified and diverse team, from around the world, to deliver this complex and prestigious piece of strategy work. - Project Director: Lukoil, Yamama Full Field Development FEED - Major Project: Tom was the Project Director leading this mega Project of a full Oil Field Development of $12bn USD TIC- Programme Director: GBS Transformation – leading a project team of ~200, building a new 1500 FTE shared services (GBS) operation. Inc. Strategy, design op model, solutioning, sourcing design & contracting and negotiations, set-up (transition), working closely with BPOs such as; TCS, Capgemini, NTT, Accenture. Achievements- Business Outcomes: leading a $150m business unit to deliver it’s business plan and achieve the net profits as per budget. Ensuring that the business cost overheads are managed and future sales pipeline forefield. - Delivering Benefit Realization: achieved business cost efficiencies savings of over $55m, with firm plans in place to deliver up to ~$90m within 3 years, following further productivity gains, resulting from RPAs, etc -Transition Management: led significant transitions workstreams, moving over 1250 FTE roles to GBS over 2 year Transition - Major Projects: led and worked on numerous major projects in the energy sector, for global clients such as, BP, Shell, Lukoil, ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, and more.
