One of 9 Graduates to organise and run a Corporate Graduate Event for 140+ individuals including SVPs. Main responsibility was jointly looking after the Evening and Entertainment area of the Event looking at all aspects including client relationships, finance, and general event organisation. Worked with and managed both relationships and contracts with suppliers and third-parties to the event and ensuring key components were delivered. I was also exposed to the management of risks and ensuring that a contingency was in place to allow the project to carry on moving forward. Alongside the risks I was also partly responsible for updating the finances for the project and managing an allocated budget for my area.

Working within the worlds largest technology company HP, where my role involves supplying the information in which is needed for us to be competitive in the market. Working in the areas of business strategy, operations and go-to-markets by helping to provide and analyze information to help deliver reports on important decisions.

Finance Analyst – End-to-End Reporting My current role involves working with UK & I Finances and analysing the effectiveness of the current end-to-end reporting processes in action within one of HP’s most secure accounts.Researching into areas previously not ventured has helped me to gain experience in independent work and helped me to break-down where the current problems lie and analyse these specifically looking for resolutions, and making the process itself leaner.Liaising with colleagues working on the account enabled me to investigate further into their requirements and adapting to these, trying to resolve problems and fulfilling their needs. Adapting to the changing demands in their environment is mirrored through my work requiring me to work proactively to help them stay ahead.

Working on one of the commercial accounts in which HP provide a service for, I assumed the role of a Project Manager. Within this role I managed my own project and also helped with the management of multiple programmes on the account. I worked on all the different components of the project life cycle and saw programmes through from start to the finish. Throughout these, time management and teamwork were vital aspects in which I had to ensure were of the highest level so we were able to meet milestones and complete the project/programme on time.By working on a customer site I was under the full pressures of a commercial relationship with a customer and had first-hand experience of these. By building and sustaining relationships with the customer this enabled me to complete tasks and pieces of work to exactly the customers requirements ensuring a high satisfaction level from the customer.During this role I was also in charge of managing the finances for these programmes and projects. This allowed me to divulge into the general finances such as profit and loss statements but it also allowed me to go deeper into the individual costs of resources, tasks, and other costs such as travel. Managing the costs of a project was a vital aspect of my role and there is always an apparent added pressure when working with them.

Developed skills in many areas which required efficient learning and for this learning to be demonstrated effectively in different areas of the store. This requires me to show energy and dynamism to adapt to new tasks.Have communicated sufficiently with staff on other levels of the hierarchy to help resolve problems which become apparent and enforce the chosen actions to provide excellent business practice.

At the age of 18 I was appointed club captain, ahead of many players who were in which older than meUpdated and maintained player’s social. media page to allow for ease of communication.Organised events, locations and participants using this page.As captain, I worked well in leading the team and working well with the team in communication and implementing the goals in which we want to achieve.Liaised with management and board members to help get the views of my team members across to the board to help and improve the club and negotiate terms which are best for everyone.

My position at SportsDirect was a Sales Assistant. My duties within my job were to provide a good service to customers and try to ensure that they find what they are looking for. I have gained experience from sales and marketing within this job and also how a business is run effectively via working with the managers. Within this job I have learnt many skills to do with teamwork and also leadership when having to work with new and less experienced workers. Also I believe that teamwork is key within any business and from my experience I have realised this. This is because for a business to run successfully, everyone within it must be able to work well together so enable high productivity and also job satisfaction.
