Administrative Manager, Center For Biomedical Computing
CurrentIn essence, my work is to be the Directors right hand, ensure smooth operations in the daily life at the Norwegian Centre of Excellence: "Center for Biomedical Computing" (CBC), and help our talented and gifted researchers to be able to concentrate on their research as efficiently as possible. The center consist of about 70 full time or part time employees, and has an annual revenue between 25 to 35 million NOK. Our vision is to facilitate access to complex mathematical models for scientists. The primary application area is biomedicine, but the computational methodologies and software tools have relevance to many other areas of science and technology.Since the start of the center in April 2007, it has been evaluated by the Research Council of Norway and external experts three times (in 2009, 2011 and 2012), and each time been awarded with the highest mark (="Excellent").
