About Kimberly Mccabe

Research scientist in computational physiology at Simula Research Laboratory. Research experience includes subcellular cardiac mechanics, calcium handling, and brownian dynamics/molecular dynamics simulations.Currently, I serve as the programme director for the Simula-UiO-UCSD Research PhD Training Programme (SUURPh). In this role, I coordinate research projects between our partners in Oslo and San Diego, helping develop research directions and overseeing the eight PhD students in the programme as a general advisor. I coordinate a yearly graduate-level international summer school in computational physiology (SSCP) in which I develop curriculum, teach several lectures, advise project groups, and organize the course.
