I am responsible for all the reporting and analytics for the Supplier Quality function within Philips.Some of my responsibilities include:• Developing processes and systems to generate actionable insights.• Working with process owners to contribute to the development of data collection and reporting mechanisms of key data associated with the SQA processes.• Acting as Business Process Owner for development of SQ analytics and author functional specifications for metrics.• Work with the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) group on data modeling to ensure that the data model is complete and accurate.• Assisting in initial setup, testing, and validation of data models to ensure that SQ data is accurate.• Participating in Global initiatives relating to standardization and harmonization of processes within SQ.

Stryker is one of the world's leading medical technology companies. I was responsible for the development, implementation and support of Business Intelligence software and systems within the SGS (Stryker Global Supply) Quality Organisation. This included gathering requirements, designing, and rolling out BI solutions to end-users to enable effective Business decision making and Quality Planning.Some of my responsibilities include:Tableau – I set up, develop content and manage the Tableau Server site for the Stryker SGS Quality organisation. The site serves as a central repository of data visualisations for all SGS Quality. This enables consistent reporting of quality metrics across the organization and empowers users to make data based decisions using self-service analytics.Data Modelling – The data sources necessary for reporting are stored in various locations and formats across the organisation. I created data workflows that blend and cleanse these data sources prior to reporting. This ensures that the Tableau visualisations are automatically refreshed with the most accurate and up-to-date data.

The role of the Q&R Analyst is the analysis and reporting of data using business intelligence tools, mathematical, statistical and analytical techniques to better understand both internal and external product data trends. Some of my responsibilities include:Cognos BI – I was a key member of the team that set up the Cognos BI system used to create the Orthopaedic and Neurovascular monthly scorecards. I was responsible for collaborating with the external consultants, local IT and the various teams in Global IT (SQL Server, WebApps and BI) that were involved in this project. I developed the ETL that transfers the data from the SharePoint list into the data warehouse. I set up the metrics in Metric Studio and designed and created the reports in Report Studio. Statistical Support – I have supported multiple business functions throughout the organisation by providing statistical expertise and guidance.

SPSS Inc. is one of the leading providers of predictive analytics technology and services. It offers statistical, data mining and business intelligence software tools to analyse and predict from a range of enterprise data. SPSS Ireland also offer a range of consultancy & training services to clients to assist them throughout the data cycle from data collection, analysis and deployment of results. I have been a key member of the services team. My role includes liaising with clients on training and consultancy projects.

The mathematics learning centre provides support for students who struggle with mathematics and statistics in their undergraduate course. It provides a drop-in centre, support tutorials and revision courses. I have participated in every aspect of the centre.

Designed and taught a course on Latex to research personnel within the University. The course ran four times over a 6 month period.

I was employed as lecturer of mathematics for the Mature Student Access Certificate Course. This is a pre-degree course in which foundation level mathematics is taught

I taught tutorials on a range of subjects including vector analysis, business, engineering, science and technological mathematics. The topics of mathematics covered include calculus, differential equations, vector calculus, numerical methods and statistics.
