Engineering analysis for power dense, diesel powered marine outboard with novel engine architecture.

CFD:-Erosion analysis using Lagrangian sand particle analysis.-Conjugate heat transfer for subsea applications which included multiphase, multicomponent, steady state and transient flows.-Vortex induced vibration analysis on intrusive probes and sensors to investigate for fatigue and resonance. -General flowfield analysis.-Presented overview of CFD applications and capabilities to company sales and production engineering teams. FEA:-Use of linear and non-linear methodologies for shape optimisation and verification.-Conducted various analyses to ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code; Section VIII. For both Division 2 and 3 methodologies. -Fatigue analysis.-Thermal analysis.Miscellaneous analysis:-Writing Matlab codes for post processing test rig data.-Optimisation of Least Squares Fit based methods, and Infinite Impulse Response Filters for real time data analysis applications. -Reliability calculations to determine MTBF of electronics components using the 217 Plus methodology. Project engineering:-Became project lead during the build and qualification phase of a new technology demonstrator.-Writing the qualification procedures and subsequent reports in accordance with ISO13682-6. -Oversaw the qualification and calibration testing, with some 'hands on' assistance including basic wiring and use of protocols.-Design of jigs and tools to aid the build process. -Chasing suppliers for delivery dates and quotes where necessary.-Presented overview of the project at an international conference,
