Launched my own blog, researching and writing my own news stories as well as features, interviews and opinion pieces. Being my own blog means being able to choose the editorial content, and having sole responsibility for the running, design and direction of the blog. I have also set up a full portfolio of social network accounts for the blog allowing me to share content across Twitter and make video content for YouTube.

Tasks include; performing rigorous vehicle checks to ensure van safety and legality, efficient and safe loading of vans with food safety standards in mind, delivering to customers at a wide range of properties and areas, dealing with any customer issues using good customer service, carrying out legally required age checks where appropriate. Have undergone intensive in-store training and AA driver training including safe driving and parking techniques as well as aspects specific to large vehicles. Working as part of a large team whilst at the store and working alone, often with a tight schedule and heavy workload whilst on the road teaches good cooperation and team work as well as time management, problem solving and self management.

Research and write news stories and features, bearing in mind house style and SEO as well as testing and reviewing new cars. As a freelancer, there is also an amount of paperwork involved which requires organisational skills.

Initially began work on Saturdays only, helping and advising customers, arranging and replenishing stock and cleaning and tidying at nights. Took on more full-time roles during the summer, winter and Easter, performing more important roles including promoting loyalty cards and other initiatives, assisting with the launch of the delivery service and taking on sole responsibility for the building materials area of the store including stock levels, health and safety, customer service and general upkeep and management.
