CurrentRecently taken up the role of Senior Policy Advisor at FPP and Coordinator of FPP's field and advocacy programme in Colombia after 20 years coordinating FPP's sub programme on Responsible Finance and Corporate Accountability. Responsible for fundraising for FPP and partner projects and programmes (raising more than US$7.5 million over the last 10 years). Senior Management of project and multi-country field budgets in excess of US1 million. Compilation of detailed advocacy documents on international and local land rights, corporate accountability, environmental finance and related forest and climate policy issues. Reporting to donors. Overseeing and training junior staff and consultants. Detailed fieldwork with indigenous and local communities on land tenure assessments, territorial planning, supply chain impact assessments, forest monitoring and land use management, participatory video, training in human rights, free, prior and informed consent, forest and climate policies and the policies and programmes of international financial institutions. Fieldwork has been undertaken in Guyana, Peru, Paraguay, Colombia, Bolivia, Ecuador, Chile, Mexico, Panama and India.
