For the Edgio Content Delivery Network (CDN), provide customizations and extension to enhance the organic capabilities and services of the core CDN. These capabilities are embedded in the CDN to provide these capabilities such as token authentication, streaming support, load balancing and error handling with needed redirects/failovers. Additionally provided on-boarding services for new or expanding customers from requirements to working production solution. In this role, I was responsible for the end-to-end capability lifecycle – gather requirements for the customer, design the solution, development, unit test with final deployment to the CDN production environment. All this followed by tracking that the solution meets the customer needs. In this environment there were two overlapping CDNs that required differing solutions: legacy sailfish EdgeCast Network Inc, legacy EdgePrism Limelight Network Inc requiring unique solutions in each. Tools used: Lua, Python3, JavaScript, Ubuntu system tools for light system administration.
