Chartered Surveyor and Project Manager and was Chief Operating Officer for Turner & Townsend.Extensive management experience and was one of the influencing forces behind the growth of Turner & Townsend into a global business helping the business evolve and grow through a strategy of global diversification - geographically, extending its range of services, developing its client base, strengthening its global sectors, supporting its people and being profitable.Member of the Executive, Management and Operations Boards and UK, Middle East, Africa and Latam America Regional Boards and the Finance and Remuneration Committees.Reported to the Executive Board on Risk and Health and Safety and chaired the Group’s Operations Board and Anti Bribery and Corruption and Information Technology committees and led the establishment of a new IT Strategy for the future of the business. Helped establish many of the overseas businesses which have contributed to the business’ incredible growth including Amsterdam, Munich, Dublin, Los Angeles, Houston, Toronto, Singapore, Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Perth, Brisbane, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Columbia and Kenya. Never had to think about changing jobs because he always found satisfaction, change, variety, promotion, different and exciting roles, reward and friendships and considered himself very lucky indeed and felt tremendously proud to have contributed in some small way to the success of Turner & Townsend.
