Network And Systems Security Specialist
CurrentAs a Network and Systems Security Specialist, I am responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our customer's companies' information and IT systems. My job duties include:- Designing, implementing, and managing security solutions for our networks, systems, and applications to protect against unauthorized access, viruses, malware, and other security threats.- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses and gaps in our security posture and recommend appropriate remediation measures.- Developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and standards to maintain compliance with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.- Monitoring and analyzing security events and logs to detect and respond to security incidents and breaches in a timely manner.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, risk management, legal, and compliance, to ensure security considerations are integrated into all aspects of our operations.- Providing security awareness training and education to our employees to promote a security-conscious culture and reduce human error.- Participating in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery, as needed.Staying up-to-date with emerging security trends, technologies, and threats to ensure our security strategies and tactics remain effective and relevant.- Cisco Firewall ASA, Routing and Switching, Call manager (CUCM) Design, Implementation, and Administration, Unity Connection (CUC)- Vulnerability Discovery, Analysis, and Mitigation- Network Auditing and Traffic Analysis (Wireshark)- Datacenter Administration, Best practices in relation to Cyber Security- IP Address Scheme Design, Cisco Meraki Wireless (Enterprise WLAN)
