Responsible for Electrical Compliance and Maintenance across site, Electrical duty holder for site and SAP (Senior authorised person) for High Voltage network. Leading a team of electrical coordinators and technicians to complete all tasks electrical. Specific duties involve ensuring statutory regulations are followed to ensure electrical safety and site legal compliance. Responsible for managing Electrical Maintenance & Repair budget.

Responsible for coordinating site electrical activities including maintenance and compliance tasks. Planning and coordinating tasks for contractors and electrical day technicians to ensure all electrical activities are complete. Generating and controlling purchase orders using electrical M&R budget. Authorised person on the site High Voltage team, performing HV switching and looking after associated contracts.

Responsible for ensuring all electrical requirements from the company are met. A brief task list would be the completion of various projects for plant improvements or new equipment, maintaining current electrical equipment, reacting to breakdowns, completing safety actions, planned maintenance and Electrical Instrumentation calibration. During this period, I worked in all areas of the plant.

Electrical bias apprenticeship program with additional mechanical training. Involved completing training at MGTS training center in Coventry and completing NVQ and BTEC level 3 in Engineering to the highest distinction grade. After a year of college, three years of on-site training with qualified electrical and mechanical technicians and the opportunity to complete a secondment in R&D. Final year involved completing a foundation degree in Electronic and Control engineering on one-day release to Birmingham Metropolitan college.
