 Consulted with my superiors to improve day-to-day operations by cutting down on redundant processes, like unneeded overlapping of accounting responsibilities. Consolidated several outdated utility monitoring processes into one that was easier to access and utilize. Created purchase orders and purchase vouchers on Great Plains accounting software for the over 200 vendors that do business with the Preserve. Oversaw the cash receipt accounts of 3 golf courses, charting revenue throughout the summer.  Crafted detailed account statements so vendors were up to date on the status of their balance.

 Managed the accounts of 4 different companies on Peachtree accounting software while absorbing the workload of an employee on leave. Enhanced customer relations by addressing and resolving problems with their accounts.  Ensured that invoices were paid on time while cutting down on discrepancies and delinquent bills. Balanced credits and debits to reveal accurate profit margins.  Trained a full-time employee on the job’s responsibilities, including how to use the accounting software. Collaborated with the Human Resources Director to cut down on overflow of unnecessary employee information while effectively updating our employee information to meet current standards.
