My research involves using micro seismicity to investigate processes beneath the Vatnajökull ice cap, SE Iceland. This research has been diverse, involving the study of melt plumbing under Bardarbunga and more recently investigating ice quakes at the ice-bed interface. I also work on other datasets from the Swiss Alps, Greenland and Antarctica.

Responsible for acquiring bathymetry survey under the Larson C Ice Shelf via an active seismic reflection survey. Worked in a small team with a pilot and a field assistant obtaining the data under tight time constraints in a remote environment. Successfully obtained data at all but one of the planned sites.
