In this position I was responsible for the coordination and documentation of 4 news broadcasts per day for a major market television station. I managed all live shots, editing, script and media archiving as well as satellite and tape budgets. Daily preparation of spread sheets detailing microwave and satellite live shots, time slots and show for distribution to control room, assignment desk and engineering departments.

As Video Manager and then Digital Media Manager I was responsible for the live production of 4 news broadcasts each day. I managed the editing to make sure everything made it's accorded time slot, scheduled and purchased satellite time for every live shot, coordinated the actual broadcast with spread sheets detailing all live shots and time slots for control room, assignment desk and engineering departments. I was also responsible for the archiving of all shows; scripts and rundowns as well as digital media.

I was brought into the (then) CBS affiliate in Boston to create, organize and manage a video tape library and archive system. I managed a $250,000 year budget, coordinated video sales and copyright tracking, facilitated edit schedules and internships.

Devised a system for tracking news items produced for air and researching information to be used in those stories.

We were located right on the Gulf Stream and harvested many species of fish and other organisms from the ocean, from Anemones to Sharks, for shipment to aquariums across the country. We maintained our stock in large tanks to make sure they could adapt to the shipment. In addition to this procedure I was in charge of the breeding of Sea Horses for sale to the Japanese government. They were used in cancer research.
