I am currently a student in the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa working towards a degree in finance. Up to this point, I have been able to work a variety of different jobs including landscaping, food service, stocking shelves, and food delivery. I am also an active member in my community as I have volunteer experience at local elementary schools working with children and have participated in multiple food packing activities for children overseas. These experiences have given me the opportunity to learn how to work with all different types of people as well as develop problem solving skills. Getting a chance to collaborate with so many different people has also taught me a lot about my own interests and identity. I am very passionate about helping other people, working with others to benefit them or help solve a problem is something that has always given me a great sense of achievement. Being a student offers me many new challenges daily both inside and outside the classroom but I prefer to welcome these challenges and view them as a step forwards in terms of self-improvement and building confidence. I also view myself as an extremely dependable person because I want people have confidence and trust in me and my work.
