Have been involved in the hospitality business my entire life and helped build Kavanaugh's Sylvan Lake Resort from a small nine cabin resort to one of the largest and best known housekeeping resorts in the upper midwest. My culinary experience began in my early teens as I learned the art of fine dining from my mother, well known Minnesota cook and cookbook auther Mae Kavanaugh. As an Executive Chef I have over 30 years of fine dining experience and since the developement of my company Kavanaugh Culinary have focused on High End Personal Chef Work and Restaurant Consulting througout Minnesota. I have traveled extensively, researching and learning more about food and the origins of ingredients from across the globe.
