I am currently working support for the BCRS Kaiser Enterprise Data Centers. I provide Layer 1,2 and some layer 3 engineering, configuring, building, connectivity and support for customer owned and IBM owned Systems, Circuits or Hardware. Working with 3rd party vendors providing extension of Data Circuits from 3rd party vendors to IBM or Customer owned equipment. Troubleshooting Data Circuits, Cat5-Cat6E Copper, 1-100gig Fiber installation. Designing Copper/Fiber pathways under raised data center flooring. Setting up Server installation in cabinets, connectivity and troubleshooting of data circuits or channels. IP configuration and troubleshooting of server ILO or ILOM configurations.

Information Technology Professional 2We converted our physical servers into Virtual Systems running on the Cisco Unified Computing Platform. VMWare, ESXi 4.0, Cisco UCS 5100 Blade Server 1.4 IOS, Nexus Switching, Cisco IOS, Network Security, Aruba Wireless networks, Cisco Unified Call Manager. I was part of a team Responsible for providing 24/7, 365 days a year network support for over 600 users, 2 wireless networks, 60 Cisco Catalyst Ethernet switches, Cisco routers, Cisco Call Manager support, Analog telephony troubleshooting and support, Fortigate Firewalls, Juniper SRX's, Ethernet Network Taps, Ethernet network traffic Sniffer / Analyzer, Use of Fluke cable analyzers and Volt meters, Data Center cooling and electrical needs for 10 buildings located in Boulder, Denver, Englewood and Aurora Colorado. I was responsible for maintaining accurate documentation of Ethernet and Phone Jack locations, Patch Panel and interface assignments and general auditing of the documentation on a quarterly basis using Microsoft Office Professional, visio, and AutoCAD. Architect Ethernet switches, routers, or wireless installations into the existing network. Upgrades configurations and Interface connectivity troubleshooting for all ten UIS supported buildings and the offices located there. Working with vendors or contractors to design, install, construct new or existing buildings or Offices.

I provided Technical support for the University of Colorado Administration Main Frame, LAN/WAN and four campus backbone network and satellite offices. Configuration, installation, monitoring, and trouble shooting of Cisco Routers, Access-list firewall, PIX Firewalls, and Catalyst Switches. Installation and support for our wireless controllers, Linksys DSL Routers and wireless Access Points. Installation and support for all system terminal servers. Data Circuit DSU/CSU T-l installation and troubleshooting. Digital/Analog telephony troubleshooting and support. Use of Fluke cable analyzers and volt meters to meet data standards during auditing, remodeling or new construction of offices or IT rooms.
