    Sr. Director of Project Controls – Jacobs / JasaraPresently assigned to support the KA CARE nuclear program here in Saudi Arabia, this program is focused on bring nuclear power generation to the kingdom. It will be used for electric power and for powering the desalination plants required to bring fresh water to this desert country.The original assignment was the King Abdula Financial District (KAFD) Program in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. My role was to implement the Project Controls functions on this key program. Establishing the controls function across Cost, Schedule, Document Controls, Risk, and Reporting. Key to this is the implementation of the WBS, OBS, CBS, PMIS, and Doc Controls software (Oracle P6, Project Wise, Oracle Unifier, OPRA Risk and Revit (BIM). Managed the development of a full suite of Program Controls Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions for the newly created client KAFD Development Management Office. These documents were modeled on the Jacobs Engineering suite and conformed to meet the client’s location and specific needs. The Jasara team transitioned from client support and advisor role to that of as Development Management Services office. Where we managed the PCMC and other direct contractors to deliver this substantial program for our client.

    Deputy Program Manager assigned to the Program Management department supporting the Director of the Port Authority NY & NJ World trade Center Projects. This program encompassed a sixteen, 16, acre site that consist of six, major projects. Duties include assisting Program Manager with the management of the LBG team. This team is comprised of 60+ individuals that represent seven companies with direct managerial responsibility for three program management staff. Major work focus has been on the recovery efforts from Hurricane Sandy. During this storm an estimated 125 million gallons of water that entered the various projects below grade and submerged the worksite from eight feet to 32 feet.Initial efforts were recovery, removal and return to work. I have been working directly with the project team to identify, remove and replace all damaged equipment. This work includes include cost analysis and schedule delay analysis in preparation of submission to the insurer.Presently, I am the key point of communication for all insurance claims on these projects. This work includes the development, coding and submission of proposals and change orders. The submission of all supporting documents through documents control to justify these loses and to liaise with the insurer team, site personnel and claims experts to insure a smooth transition from estimate to payment.Base Duties include: •Issuance and Preparation of the Weekly Insurance Status Report •Cordinating with the various insurance companies -Both inside the PA and Outside the PA -Document Controls issues -Lead Coordination Meetings

    Schedule System Manager China AP1000 JPMOManage and control the Primavera P6 schedule database for the China AP1000 Nuclear Projects. The AP1000 projects consist of an EPC contract to manage the first four (4) units on behalf of the SNPEC, State Nuclear Power Engineering Corporation. These four (4) units are being built a two site Haiyang and Sanmen in the People Republic of China. The JPMO, Joint Project Management Office is tasked with managing these reactors and associated building from design/engineering, procurement/fabrication, construction and commissioning/startup. A single unit is comprised of sixteen (16) individual P6 project schedules that are being managed in an integrated project schedule (IPS). Actual Unit cost numbers are protected; however, each unit was estimated in excess of 1.5 Billion U.S. for engineering and Westinghouse delivered equipment. China supplied equipment and materials and Construction Cost or outside of this estimate.Responsibilities include the development, control and management of the Integrated Project Schedule (IPS) for the China AP1000. The IPS is comprised of 16 schedules per unit. The IPS Level 3 per unit contains 40,000+ activities. Run twice monthly update of the IPS and produce bi-weekly and monthly schedule reports and analysis. Produce the integration matrix for quantity and earn value reporting monthly. Implementation of the Integrated Project Schedule (IPS) was completed at both Haiyang and Sanmen sites. This work involved holding various schedule workshops. These workshops included the JPMO schedule team the SPMO, Site Project Management Office, scheduling team and the representative of the owner’s project controls team.     Working for Louis Berger Group I was seconded to Qatar Project Management, QPM, to work as Project Controls Director assigned with managing both cost and schedule for all Qatar Diar projects within the QPM portfolio of eight projects, the Rising Mountain Development Projects, throughout the middles east and North Africa. Responsible for the recruitment and selection of the Project Controls and Cost staff assigned to each project. Managed these site based teams to ensure that all corporate procedures were maintained and that the client’s contractual needs were met. Site teams averaged 10 to 14, these teams included: a PCM, two schedulers, documents control staff, a cost manager and quantity surveyors. Worked with the on-site client’s teams and the prime contractor’s staff to help mitigate any conflicts that arose and to develop a team environment approach for project delivery. The Intelligent Data Management System, QPM IDMS, was implemented at all eight project sites and the client’s corporate headquarters in Doha under my direction and leadership. This system is comprised of MS SharePoint and Primavera Contract Manager. These two software tools comprised QPM’s document controls function. Qatar Diar also selected these software tools as their tools of choice for the eight Rising Mountain Projects. I mentored and trained both QPM and QD project site staff on the proper use of these systems to manage their work. Work directly with QPM IT department to initiate the implementation of the ERP: financial, HR, procurement and payroll software products. The ERP is built on a Microsoft toolset with integration to both the QPM IDMS and to Primavera scheduling, P6, as required.The P6 scheduling tool built and maintained all project schedules. The prime contractors supplied both a detailed design and a construction schedule when incorporated became the Master Plan/Schedule. Once approved, the Master Plan/Schedule the platform for monthly schedule updating.
