Responsible for all aspects of the leading BIOS company and member board of directors. Successfully led new strategy definition, divestiture of non-core assets, return to profitability, re-establishing wall street confidence in Company, strengthening of executive team, market share expansion, etc. Company was acquired for ~$152,000,000 in November 2010 - a 55% premium since joining the company.

Responsible for all aspects of the SunFab thin film solar operation/P&L - ~900 people, ~$700M in forecasted 2010 revenue. Successfully led new strategy definition, re-establishing customer confidence, strengthening of the executive team and alignment across the world wide operations/team. Product being produced is a turnkey large scale solar panel manufacturing facility – average sales price > $100M.

Responsible for all aspects of the ~8,000 employee organization – designer and manufacturer of LCD and camera phone modules. Merged IDW and Flextronics Components division into a profitable, growing and well run organization. Major design win achieved, Nokia.

Responsible for all aspects of the ~4,000 employee Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) operations. Defined company strategy, significantly grew revenues, profits, # of employees, market capitalization value by ~6X, added key customers, hired new board of directors, acquired a company, led company listing on Nasdaq, grew daily share volume by ~20X, raised ~$70M via a public secondary offering – all of which ultimately led to the sale of the company to Flextronics for $300,000,000.

Intel Corporation 10/91 – 9/04:Vice President, General Manager, Flash Products, Intel Corporation - 10/03 – 09-04. Gained full P & L responsibility by managing all aspects of the ~7,000 employee flash product group. Grew revenues from $1.8B to $2.3B by growing business with Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericcson, etc and several broad market customers, gained profitability, gained significant market share and strengthened the organization. President Intel Americas/Vice President Sales & Marketing, Intel Corporation - 08/98 – 10/03. Responsible for all sales and marketing aspects of the ~1,200 employee America’s geography and managed budget of ~$120M. Revenues represented ~50% of Intel’s total revenues -- $12B quota in final year in job. Managed Intel’s key customers including Dell, IBM, Compaq, HP, Cisco, Motorola among many others. Grew Intel market share, won key designs and significantly strengthened the organization into Intel’s highest performing organization as noted in Intel’s global employee survey. Director Product Marketing/Business Management for Asia, Hong Kong, Intel Corporation - 08/97 – 08/98. Responsible for business operations, product marketing for the Asia Pacific Region. Extensive experience gained in Taiwan customer/ODM base. Successfully built high performing organization. Director of Distribution for Asia Pacific, Singapore, Intel Corporation - 07/95 – 08/97. Responsible for all aspects of Intel’s distribution business for the 14 country Asia Pacific region. Dramatically grew revenues and built high performance ~300 employee organization. Director Worldwide Product Marketing, End User Components Division, Intel Corporation - 10/91 – 07/95, Folsom, Ca. Initially hired as an individual contributor, promoted to marketing manager and quickly to Director responsible for all world wide marketing aspects of Math Co-processors and Overdrive microprocessors.
