About Tom Legros, Ms, Arm

Tom LeGros has worked in the loss control/risk management field for more than 25 years. Prior to that he worked in public safety as an EMT and completed his EMT-P program in Louisiana. He earned his ACA (Accredited Claims Adjuster) designation from the University of South Florida in 2004 where he was an independent adjuster and risk management consultant covering the Southeast. He earned his ARM designation in May of 2016, and was conferred his Master of Science Degree in Management from Excelsior University in June of the same year. Tom is one of the founders of Preferred Reports. Preferred Reports, now almost 10 years old, has grown to become a major player in insurance risk intelligence . Tom directly oversees information and data services for the company. He has experience in new business creation, lean startups, operations management, human resources, IT operations, and of course, risk management. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the Project Management Institute, and the Professional Risk Managers International Association. For his non-risk activities, he is a member of the Archaeological Institute of America and the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry.
