I am proud of what I accomplished,1. Dating back in my master program, I had already been working on database marketing, and won first prize on SAS Data Science competition.2. ML: I assisted a startup in improving their recommendation system, and with retrospective evaluation, the algorithm doubles the user click rate.3. DE: I was the first member in building up the data team in MDF, and initiated the project to integrate disparate data across divisions and history. Following with that, replacing old excel reports with Tableau dashboards. Since then, those reports are no longer needed to be maintained manually.4. DA: I come up with the idea of integrating the US census data into our internal database, mapping them with our historical orders to calculate the market penetration rate down to each county. It provides guidance on how to reallocate our sales force across the State, and regional marketing budget.5. DL: The product of concept(POC) of mask detector I built was optimized, so that it’s light-weighted enough to be installed in mini computing chip. These then can be deployed in large scale cheaply, such as at the hallway entrance in hotels or banks.6. I am so passionate in knowledge sharing and being a supportive member in the team, wining the hearts of my boss, my colleagues, and even the students when I was the school teaching assistance(TA).
