This involved controlling the overall model, liaising with other sub-teams to amend the model as designs and sizing changed and delegating tasks. The end result was a full model in Solidworks and drawings ready for manufacture.Water WheelPart of a team of 6 designing and building a waterwheel. I created the complete Solidworks model and drawings which received a mark of 87.8%. The waterwheel came 4th for its power production.Buggy CompetitionPart of a team of 6 designing and building a motorised buggy with on board control system. Designed and developed the control system (Labview) and the chassis (Solidworks), from which detailed drawings were made for the team to follow in assembly. The buggy recorded the fastest time out of 13 teams.Thermofluids LabsCollected data within a group, which was then analysed individually. I implemented my knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics to produce a report. Three experiments were carried out and analysed, which included viscosity of oils, energy loss in pipe flow and flow around a circular cylinder in a wind tunnel. The mark I received was 70%.Glider BuildPart of a team of 6 designing and building a glider. Designed and developed the wings and created detailed drawings to be used in the building process.
