Tom is a Christian who loves his family and has worked in the theater, film, and television industries since 1993. Always a performer, Tom spent his high school and college years doing magic for parties and acting in local productions both community and professional. Honing his skills in Chicago and regional theater (including many Jeff Award winning productions) he then broke into television, and film with tv roles in Early Edition, Chicago Code, Prison Break, Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and more. Film work includes The Dark Knight, What If...? , Southside With You, The Law of Moises, The Killing of Kenneth Chamberlain, and Pardoned by Grace, as well as many other shorts and indie features. As to the craft, Tom says (with apologies to Eric Liddell), "God has made me an actor and when I perform, I feel His pleasure." One of his greatest joys therefore is the many roles he has brought to life in Chicago’s own Unshackled! the longest running radio drama in history.
