OwnerTm Design Jan 2008 - PresentAs a consultant, freelancer and hired hand, I have been asked to design and built web sites, create interactive animation, develop corporate collateral, and produce product and package design. Most recently contracting with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas city to re-design the front end user interface for all six of their web portals. This ongoing project requires my expertise in creating an attractive and contemporary look and feel, strong, consistent branding and intuitive design. The result keep this very public, very visible company looking fresh and up to date to the many providers, members, brokers, consumers and employers who rely on the website daily.I have also analyzed and synthesized complex schedules, management programs and business dealings into easy to digest timelines, charts and newsletters and animated movies. Working with Marvel Entertainment, I have Illustrated high profile trading card sets as well as ads featuring Spiderman, X-men, the Fantastic Four and many other characters. Many start-ups, not for profits and small businesses have called on me to design and build websites from scratch. Larger corporations have used my skills with design, html and css to improve their web presence. With textbook publishers, I have illustrated many educational materials and books. Freelancing for all four local television news entities, I have produced hundreds of Courtroom Illustrations for over 30 high profile trials, some of which have been broadcast regionally and nationally. My list of clients, types of projects, and skills continues to grow. As an online marketing business, the web site serves as the storefront and public face. The welcoming and easy to interact with design allowed Muncharoo to quickly become the most successful local business of it's kind. Before selling the daily deals end of the business to a larger national enterprise, I worked with over five hundred merchant clients to create daily promotions. With my staff, we researched, wrote and edited descriptive text, headlines and highlights as well as photographing and creating custom images. We broadcast the deals to over sixty thousand subscribers from an email database that we managed to build through social media and promotional concepts. Creating the business concept, brand look and feel and web market place from the bottom up demanded many technical and creative skills.
