Tom is President of Rockford Construction; providing oversight for strategy, vision, and measured growth. Tom has managed more than seven million sq. ft. of construction during his career and has been instrumental in fine-tuning the company’s approach to client satisfaction and successful project completions. Tom has more than 30 years of experience in commercial construction and retail distribution being responsible for more than 8 million square feet and $750 million of new or renovated construction projects.

Responsible for new store construction for 2002, 2003, 2004 openings. Average cost per project was $20 million. Managed a staff of four project managers and four construction specialists. Interacted with all areas of the company, architects, and contractors to ensure design, layout, and construction to expectation.

Responsible for entire routing, receipt and shipment of merchandise for a 114-store retail chain. Oversaw the $30 million annual transportation budget and was accountable for the accurate receipt and distribution of over $6 million weekly receipts and shipments of merchandise. Excellent understanding of product flow, merchandising and operations.
