Secured legislative approval of the state's Coastal Zone Management and Chapter 91 Waterways and Wetlands Protection statutes, the state's full regiment of hazardous waste and toxics regulatory statutes including the state Superfund, the state Water Management Act, Interbasin Transfer Act, Acid Rain Act, Endangered Species and Non-game Wildlife statute and the Solid Waste Management Act as well as several Open Space Bond Bills and the creation of the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) which led to the cleanup of the Boston Harbor
