Thomas A. Moore is a partner with the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Moore has specialized in Workers’ Compensation law since 1979 and has been recognized by The Florida Bar as a Board Certified expert since 1988. His focus is representing public and private employers, insurance companies, and third party administrators. With more than 30 years of experience, he has successfully handled thousands of Workers’ Compensation issues from the routine to the very complex. Mr. Moore has over 120 Workers’ Compensation appeals to Florida’s First District Court of Appeal with many opinions having statewide applicability and impact. He has also been retained in other claims involving employment issues, tort, and premise liability.Prior to joining QPWB, he was founder and managing partner of Moore, Peterson & Zeitler, P.A., in Orlando. Mr. Moore has developed an excellent reputation with the Judges throughout the state as a very skilled and honest litigator. He has been awarded the AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating℠ by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory which is based upon the confidential opinions of the Bar and the Judiciary, independently attesting to his legal ability and high professional ethical standards. Mr. Moore is a Certified Legal instructor and frequent speaker at many seminars and legal conferences. He lectures at the annual Board Certification educational program and has been recognized as a Florida Super Lawyer since 2006. Mr. Moore has served as Chairman of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee and is a State Certified Arbitrator. He participates in the Orange County Teen Court program having recently received the prestigious Judge Thomas L. Kirk Founders Award.Mr. Moore received his Juris Doctor from The Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama in 1979 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in 1975.
