Succeeded founder and long-time Executive Director who retired for health reasons. Representative assignments include:· Trust Administrator and Trustee for DIP Lenders Trust recovering assets for the DIP Lenders to the General Motors bankruptcy.· Financial Advisor to General Motors Corporation in its Bankruptcy and Vice President of Motors Liquidation Company managing the assets left behind from the section 363 transaction.· Financial Advisor to the private equity secured lender to Pacific Lumber, a redwood forestry company where we proposed the successful restructuring plan for the company.· Chief Restructuring Officer for Core-Mark International, a $5 billion distributor to convenience stores.· Advisor to an automotive supplier on the reorganization of subsidiaries in England, France, and Slovakia.· At the UK subsidiary of Ryder I led profit improvement teams that resulted in increasing profits by £12 million on £300 million in annual revenue.· Financial Advisor for a tier 1 automotive supplier where I advised the purchasing group on strategies to improve supplier terms and working capital usage.· Assistant Treasurer and Financial Advisor to Kmart where I led efforts to improve supplier payment terms and stocking agreements.

At Wendy's International, as Director Franchise Development, I was responsible for financial and operational restructuring of under-performing franchisees. During seven years I restructured over thirty franchisees controlling more than 300 stores. Some of the techniques I developed during my tenure include:· Structuring past due royalties into notes with long term repayment plans.· Closing unprofitable locations.· Negotiating sale leaseback transactions to free up capital.· Acquiring fee properties for Wendy's account.· Implementing operational changes including sourcing new operational leadership.· Arranging funding for store remodeling.
