This involved devising and costing new financial processes with the aim of transferring a major part of the global mobility’s function work to a shared service centre in India. £2million a year of recharging work was successfully transferred, freeing up capacity whilst also saving money and creating more rigorous and efficient financial processes.• Conducted market research and defining service requirements for major relocation and immigration services tenders. The foundations for future tenders were established with service options, likely cost and procurement processes involved all documented.• Used Viseo and Lean Six Sigma methodology to map all existing British Council global mobility processes.
