I’m a development advisor specialising in sustainable tourism and public-private conservation models. As a director of Milton Group, I’ve worked with family offices, impact investors, developers and hospitality brands across the globe and am currently active in Australia, Central America, Rwanda, Tanzania, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.As one of the founding partners of Ngarra, a responsible development company based in Sydney, we are working to broaden the reach of sustainable development and privately-funded conservation models in Australia. We have an active project in Tasmania; a 1,000 acre conservation estate which aims to set a benchmark for the responsible investment and development of an integrated tourism community.My work focuses on creating robust business plans to underpin conservation and community initiatives. I’m passionate about outcome-based impact investment and believe the private sector must play a more integral role in protecting the world’s natural and cultural assets. To do this, opportunities to participate in socially and environmentally responsible initiatives must become part of our investment culture and be a more readily accessible alternative in our tourism and real estate offerings.
