I have four years of shift manager experience at Onestop stores, in a fast paced and busy environment. I have experience with operating and Running a Post Office local branch, including mail management, stock ordering and control of money. I have experience in the management of large stock deliveries and the management duties of running a convenience store, not only looking at what is needed an a daily basis but looking ahead at the needs and requirements of the coming weeks in order to put the business in the best position possible. This includes promotional launches and completing daily/weekly set routines I have also had experience in stepping into an acting store manager role in my managers absence, completing payroll duties and producing rotas for a small team of 12-14 colleagues. This has given me experience in leading a store and keeping on top of KPIs and necessary tasks.I also hold a personal licence for the distribution of alcohol. I pride myself on being able to adapt to different scenarios, being flexible and using my initiative to get required tasks done to a high standard. I am a friendly, confident person who is able to converse and talk with customers in a way that helps them feel welcome and valued. This has also helped me build a good working environment with colleagues. My proudest achievement outside of work was backpacking across America for three months, over 1500 miles, which took planning, preparation and integrity to work hard, as well as good people skills and communication which I feel all translate into good qualities for work.
