On the BAE Systems graduate scheme I worked in three different roles before taking on a graduate, transitioning to full-time role in the Workforce Data and Analytics team.In my first placement I worked as an Enterprise Architect. I developed skills on a business architecture software, MooD, which I used to improve and implement features on a tool used widely within the company and contribute to analysis tasks.As a graduate on the UK Sport partnership team in my second placement I worked on a variety of projects. I often interacted with many different stakeholders within BAE Systems and with UK Sport; utilising and applying BAE Systems' technical knowledge of the defence sector to apply similar concepts to improve sporting performance.My third placement as a graduate was as a Software Engineer, working with an expert team of Data Analysts to begin to learn the ropes in the general data analytics space; including work with SQL and Python, but with a clear focus on data visualisation in Power BI.
