Tom is an Executive Partner with Laurel Solutions, (a subsidiary of FFL Partners), providing consultative support and interim business leadership services for their portfolio companies. Tom also served on the board of directors for Peerless Electronics (an ESOP company that distributes aerospace components), on the ESOP and Finance committees. Prior to his retirement from Sensata Technologies, a $3B global industrial technology company, Tom was a business leader and senior director. He specialized in organizational leadership and business operations, and has experience leading teams in the aerospace & military, HVAC/R, solar, industrial, power inverter, and IioT markets that utilize control and sensor products. After service in the US Navy as a submarine officer, his career at Sensata spanned more than 30 years and included assignments in Business Management, Operations Management, Sales & Marketing, and Acquisition Integration. He has held P&L responsibilities for $100M+ global business units, and has led multiple acquisition integration teams. As a Native American tribal member, Tom serves on the board of Aquinnah Wampanoag Enterprises, a native American tribal business development organization. He has authored, published and presented various professional papers, and garnered awards from SAE and Flight International. Tom was also recognized with the Top Leadership Award upon graduation from Officer Candidate School.As a consultant to industrial companies, Tom helps clients with projects related to acquisitions, organizational structure, operations, and product management. Tom has a B.S. Mechanical Engineering from WPI, and an M.B.A. from the University of Rhode Island.
