My practice concentrates on commercial real estate transactions, particularly purchase and sale, development, financing, leasing, investment, joint ventures, workouts and distressed assets. These transactions involve office, retail, industrial, multi-family, mixed use and land development projects. I am also experienced in residential real estate transactions, and in general business and commercial law. I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Washington in 1981, where I was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. I received my J.D. degree with honors from the University of Washington School of Law in 1984. I was an editor of the Washington Law Review. I am also a member of the Order of the Coif.I am a member of the King County Bar Association, Washington State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and of the real property sections of those bar associations.
