• Designed and drew two car park schemes for a main client. I surveyed the area with GPS and used the coordinates and elevations to produce drawings through AutoCAD. From this I was able to create an accurate takeoff to work with the quantity surveyors to produce a price. This involved researching all the relevant standard details and the necessary Highway Code to comply to.• Managed and supervised the build of two car parks for a main client within their depots. Easton Lane (Client Headquarters) & Park Gate (J9 M27). Under budget and on time. Total Value over 500k. When the projects were on the ground I set out what was needed whilst acting as the site manager organizing men, materials and plant, including sub-contractors. This took up over half of my time on placement and is something I am very proud of. I oversaw these works from beginning to end.• Managed & supervised various works within the Hampshire area from large gabion walls, mass excavation, foundations and drainage (ditching & pond remediation). Worked Day and Night shifts on the motorway network, I have a strong understanding of health and safety on the network.• Supervising gangs of men, motivating and delegating tasks & roles ensuring health and safety standards were upheld throughout the day. Delivered tool box talks & Inductions (where necessary) as part of a weekly routine.• Site Engineer for Draper Tools job valued at 1.3m, responsibilities included setting levels and gradients. Discussing and overcoming engineering issues that arose during the build. Maintaining quality.• Strong communication with all levels internal and external.
