Teens+ (Transitional Education Extra Needs Support) is a unique educational facility for young people, who due to their complex communication needs, would not be able to access existing further education, post school. Teens+ began with six young people, we now have 34 young people, labelled as having complex communication needs, autism, its associated complexities, and challenging behaviour. Until that time no other service placed such a great emphasis on the continuation of learning for this specific group of young people. We believe everyone has the right to further education regardless of needs.
