Construction Supervisor

As a Carpenter / Construction Supervisor serving with the 1st Combat Engineer Regiment, I carry out small to large-scale construction work covering most building classifications in remote areas both domestically and abroad. It is my responsibility to conduct project planning for international projects within the Pacific including all actions involved within the project life cycle. My other duties comprise barracks maintenance and refurbishments including upgrades. Relying on strong interpersonal skills, I liaise with and provide advice to project personnel on matters related to carpentry and construction requirements. I carefully analyse and interpret building standards and regulations as well as interpret technical literature and data from various sources. With a strong safety focus, I effectively manage all health and safety regulations as well as comply with quality assurance requirements at all times. Key Achievements:• Successfully delivered projects within the Asia Pacific on time and under budget.• Provided significant input into indigenous construction projects in remote regions.
