I analyze weekly stores sales trend used to update target forecast for the Fresh Produce Department, which was used to generate suggested daily allocations. Monitor and report on significant changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies to the Category Buyers to review inbound buys.

Responsible for managing the optimal deployment of merchandise to the stores within the Fresh Department. Control appropriate allocations and flow of merchandise to all stores (379 stores) through execution of allocation strategies in partnership with the Manager/Buyer. Monitor inventory in the DCs to ensure it is released out of the DCs in a timely manner, before product expiration. Analysis in depth product performance on a weekly basis to improve stores inventory and sell through. Own volume grade process and provide best grading index strategy in assortment planning.

Established relationships with vendors to support access to latest product information and pricing to update database used to support buyers.
