Mr. Schaeffer has extensive experience in the structural design of all types of buildings. He has been in consulting structural engineering practice since 1981 and is a Fellow of the American Concrete Institute. He is a Principal and Vice President in the firm of Structural Design Group. His experience includes long span steel structures, loadbearing concrete masonry structures, and conventional, post-tensioned, and precast concrete structures. In addition, he serves on several technical committees of the American Concrete Institute, including the main committee of 318.
