In my time as an Infrastructure Project Manager I have:>Hosted an Final Review Proposal (FRP) for GSK's network contract assisting the company in saving upwards of £10 million.>Managed a Tech Refresh of Cisco devices worldwide, £1.5 million Capital/£120,000 Opex>Managed the implementation of a new File Sharing Service, allowing the team to assign a custodian to every file share within GSK, successfully remediating a serious risk at GSK. £380,000 Capital.>Managed the implementation of a new URL Filtering service, working in co-ordination with McAfee to upgrade GSK Web Washers worldwide. £35,000 Opex.>Worked on Communications package on a new customer facing Password Tool within GSK, affecting all 100,000 employees.>Worked on Communications package for a new tool within GSK allowing employees to connect to GSK from home through a secure VPN. Project initiated £1.2 million cost savings.The Infrastructure Project Manager role includes the following:>Planning projects using Microsoft Project/PowerPoint/Excel and presenting the information to stakeholders to complete the project approval process.>Working through the project tasks with the project team. Weekly meetings with the project team to discuss update/drive deliverables/update risks and issues.>Keep updating a RAID log detailing the tasks that could impact the project or the company.>Regularly update stakeholders with timely and key updates about the project.>Manage project finance. Raise purchase orders, pay invoices and track transactions.>Manage project resources.
