The software is produced using a custom JavaScript framework to develop the front-end. Integrated with a .NET API and Microsoft sql server database.

Accounts Administrator for Siren Furniture. My daily tasks include the management of debits received from customers. Handling of purchase ledger and sales ledger. Invoicing customers. Review of supplier invoices. Database management in relation to prices. Corresponding with suppliers and customers.

I started to learn software development in February 2020. I have gained experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and the React.js library. I have learned through the various resources; The 'Head first' collection of literature which provides interactive learning through exercises. This was my main source of learning for the fundamental aspects of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I also watched YouTube tutorials, consulted my programmer friend, and stack overflow for anything that i didn't understand at the time. I have created various projects which i have a real interest in to further my knowledge and understanding of front-end development. Having joined Wren Professional Services with no prior experience of working in a professional office or accountancy practice. Adapted immediately, taking on many responsibilities that required an adaptable approach and to embrace the steep learning curve. Quickly became a well valued and critical member of the team, and roles involved interacting with clients, entry of client records into bookkeeping software, training of clients on ‘QuickBooks’, preparation and submission of Vat returns, and the preparation of limited company accounts.Key Skills:• Communication – Interfacing with clients face to face, by telephone and via email. Employed as a Customer Service Advisor provided valuable work experience and allowed interaction with a variety of customers to help advise them on their projects. Embraced the opportunity to learn about the trade industry and to interface with professionals from the sector. Responsibilities in this role included; operation and maintenance of the store machinery including timber saw station, stock management, use of the company’s ordering and stock control computerised systems, training new members of staff within the department, liaising with customers and other stores, and assisting customers with their projects.Key Skills:• Communication – Liaising with customers and staff effectively in order to meet their needs.• Attention to detail – Ensuring stock levels were kept at correct levels and stacked correctly on store displays to meet management expectations.• Compliance – Operation of store machinery including timber saw involved following company regulations and HSE directives for safe systems of work. Seasonal work undertaken at Smyth’s toy store where training was received in customer service.
