Engineering responsibilities include all phases of industrial automaton projects mostly in the food industry. Design responsibilities include selecting hardware, creating cabinet drawings, writing PLC code in both Siemens and Rockwell environments and integrating VFDs and HMIs. Construction responsibilities include both on-site and off-site responsibilities including working with vendors, customers and the trades. Start-up responsibilities include assisting the trades finish construction, IO checkout, and line startup and troubleshooting. Also extensive experience upgrading, troubleshooting and optimizing existing equipment. Robotics Controls Design Engineer (November 2013 – November 2015)Lead engineer responsible for the research and design of National Instruments cRIO controlled Industrial robotic arm. Research tasks included initial concepts, research, controls hardware and software selection and documentation.
