I remained as a consultant for Emotion Kayaks with Lifetime Products to maintain relationships and brand integrity as well as assist with product development during the transitional period.

Bringing fresh energy and enthusiasm to paddle sports, I launched Emotion Kayaks in 2002. We were able to shake up a complacent industry with new technology and creative, family oriented marketing. Emotion Kayaks won numerous nationwide awards, such as Outdoor Magazine’s ‘Gear of the Year’ in 2010, and REI’s ‘Watersport Vendor of the Year’ in 2011. Emotion grew to become one of the largest suppliers of recreational kayaks in the world, being sold in 23 countries and over 1400 locations. We sold Emotion Kayaks to Lifetime Products in November 2011 to continue the growth and US production of our recreational line-up of kayaks and paddleboards.
